Dave Hahn – Manheim Central Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator/TE’s Coach Hahn just complete his 28 th year as a Barons football coach and his 8 th as the Head Coach of the Barons.
Coach Hahn has a 5-time recipient of the LL League Section Two “Mike Williams” Coach of the Year. In 2018,
Coach Hahn received the Class 5A District 3 Coach of the year, Class 5A PIAA Coach of the year, as well as Coach of the year honors from both Eastern PA Football and PA Football News publications. In eight years at the helm the Barons have a 80 –19 record. Winning a share or outright section title in each of the first 5 years, as well as reaching the District the playoffs each of the first 5 years, claiming two District 3 titles in 2017, 2018 and returning to the state playoffs including the state title game against Penn Hills in 2018.
Coach Hahn continues to serve as the Offensive Coordinator and tutors the Tight Ends and H-Backs, after working with the offensive line for the first 25 years of his career. Originally from Johnson City, NY (Johnson City HS), Coach Hahn is a graduate of East Stroudsburg University, where he earned a degree in Movement Studies and Exercise Science and received his Master’s degree in Health Education from PSU.
Coach Hahn is a PE teacher at Manheim Central High School and resides in Manheim for the past 28 years with his wife Michelle, a Health and PE teacher at Baron Elementary. Dave and Michelle have 3 children: Abigail, married to former Baron lineman and current Jr High Football coach Cody Shaub (and grandson Brayden). Gabrielle, a Graduate of Penn State University, majoring in Athletic Training and received her Master’s In Athletic Training from East Stroudsburg University while serving as a Graduate Assistant. She is currently employed by CPRS and is in her 2 nd year as an Athletic Trainer at MC. The youngest is Zac, 17, a 11 th grader at MC, who plays Football, Basketball and Track and Field.
