Coach Cantafio’s ability to develop winning quarterbacks has made him
one of the most successful high school coaches on the East Coast. His
coaching strategies have earned him 263 career wins as a Head Coach at
the high school level averaging over 8 wins per year with 12 League
Championships at 4 different schools. Coach Cantafio is the only coach
in Pennsylvania to win three district championships at three different
schools in the 1990s. He was awarded with 10 Coach of The Year Honors,
was the PA Big 33 Head Coach in 1998 and was named the QB Coach for
the Under Armour All-American Game in 2013.
As an Offensive Coordinator for 4 years at Coatesville High School
(2016-2019), he had a 27-1 league record, 4x League Champions, 2x
District One 6A Champs, 2x Top 4 finishes in PA and had 46 wins over
4 years.
Known as one of the top QB Coaches in the country, Coach Cantafio is
the only coach in PA to have two QBs selected to the Nike Elite 11.
His QB client list includes players such as Chad Henne, Kenny Pickett,
Andrew Ford, Ricky Ortega, Alex Hornibrook, Grant Breneman, Luke Emge,
Evan Simon, Kasim Hill, Stone Saunders, Alex Erby, Hayden Johnson, Zac
Hahn and many others.
Coach Cantafio also achieved a well-earned spot in the Pennsylvania
Football Hall of Fame.
