Coach Gallagher enters his 49th year as a football coach. He has coached at the High School and Collegiate level. He has coached at Morris Catholic 11 years, Edinboro University of Pennsylvania two years, St. Francis College three years, William Paterson University eight years, Montville High School 14 years, Boonton High School 2 years, and Parsippany High School two years, before joining Delbarton’s staff in 2015. Coach served as President of the MCFCA and serves on the executive committee of the NJFCA , as well as the Maxwell Club High School Committee . He takes great pride in the number of ex-assistant coaches and players who have gone on to become football coaches. More than 50 have become head coaches in college and high school. Coach Gallagher speaks nationally and has had material published on a variety of topics. He has been inducted into the New Jersey Football Coaches Hall of Fame ; the William Paterson University Athletic Hall of Fame and the Morris Catholic High School Hall of Fame . Gerry and his wife Pat are the proud parents of Amy, Cayleigh and Bryan. Coach Gallagher is the proud grandparent of his grandson Kellen.
