Mike Terwilliger, a member of the ESU Athletic Hall of Fame as a player and a coach, enters his 50th season at ESU and his 45th season as an assistant coach during the 2024 season.

Terwilliger has held a role – whether it has been as the offensive coordinator, quarterback coach, or quarterback for each of the past 518 games at ESU.

In 2023, Terwilliger guided three successful quarterbacks in Charlie McKee, Sean

McTaggart and Aaron Tobias, who all made multiple starts throughout the season in the

9-3 campaign. ESU’s quarterbacks combined to rank 30th in completion percentage (.624), 32nd nationally in fewest interceptions thrown (8), 14th in passing efficiency (161.42), and 12th in red zone offense (.882).

The Warriors returned to the NCAA Playoffs for the first time since 2009, as five

Warriors on the offensive side of the ball earned All-PSAC recognition in Tim Kinney

(1st Team OT), Tyriq Lewis (2nd Team RB), Jonathan Post (2nd Team TE) and John

Siggins (2nd Team WR),

He was honored during the 2022 season for his 500th consecutive game as a Warrior.
