McCrann currently serves as the Tight Ends Coach at Colgate University after being elevated from an
Offensive Quality Control position in August of 2023. In 2023 the Colgate offense averaged 318
yards per game, 123 rushing yards per game, and had a 93% conversion rate in the red zone.
McCrann comes to Colgate after serving as the offensive line coach, academic coordinator, and
football strength and conditioning coach at his alma mater Misericordia University for the past year.
With the Cougars, McCrann coached offensive lineman Mark Welsh, who was All-Conference in the
MAC during the 2022 season. Statistically, the MU offensive line averaged 157 rushing yards per
game and four yards per carry under his guidance.
Before fully guiding the offensive trenches, McCrann was a graduate assistant at MU, where he led
the tight ends, fullbacks, and running backs, while also serving as the assistant offensive line coach.
McCrann started his coaching career at his other alma mater Bernards High School where he was a
volunteer assistant football coach from June 2016-August 2019.
